We are proud to announce we’ve updated our X (formerly Twitter) integration to adapt to changes in X’s API. Just as easy to setup, includes the name of the connected X account once enabled, and provides the complete content of the most recent posts on that account. You can still choose whether to post recent checkins only, four and five star reviews only, or both. And we’ve added a throttle, where you can set a cap to the number of posts the integration will create, to help keep from overwhelming your other posts. We’ve also adopted OAuth 2.0 for your security.
How do you take advantage?
Login to your business account with an admin user and go to INTEGRATIONS > Social > Twitter and click Install Integration. Follow the prompts from there to authorize Nearby Now to post to your Twitter account on your behalf.
If you were using our previous version of the Twitter integration, the old version has been disabled. Login to your business account with an admin user and go to INTEGRATIONS > Social > Twitter and click Un-Install Integration. Then click Install Integration to activate the new integration, and follow the prompts from there to authorize Nearby Now to post to your Twitter account on your behalf.
